Our Story
We’re Platform Housing Group. We’ve been around since 1967 and we are now home to over 120,000 people across the Midlands from Herefordshire in the West to the Lincolnshire coast in the East, and from the Derbyshire Dales in the North to the Cotswolds in the South.

Our annual turnover is £300 million, and we have invested more than £650 million in homes over the last year. We’re building new homes all the time and actively work with over 100 local authorities to build new affordable homes that meet local need. This includes homes for sale, for rent, for shared ownership, as well as supported housing and retirement living villages for older people.
We know that it not all about bricks and mortar, its about doing the right thing for local people, local communities and local stakeholders. It’s about delivering services that support people to be the best they can be. Employment advice, educational opportunities and financial support schemes are all a key part of our offering.
We work well with others! We’re a Homes England strategic partner, which means we’re trusted with over £250 million of government funding to build more homes to help ease the current housing shortage.
