One month’s rent in advance is required ranging from £844.57 to £927.94 pcm (dependent upon property type), on the tenancy start day. Please note that if you are claiming Housing Benefit or Housing Element of Universal Credit there are some service charges that would not be covered. These include £5.53 pcm towards administration; £42.02 pcm for personal heating; £12.91 pcm for personal water, £1.34 pcm communal TV aerial and there is a £29.87 pcm charge towards the cost of support. If you are accepted and do become a Platform Housing Group tenant, you will be offered a starter tenancy. If there have been no breaches or issues within the first year of your tenancy you will be considered for an assured lifetime tenancy.
