“Working as part of the Panel means I can directly contribute to improving systems for both tenants and Platform.” 

I’ve been involved in the Scrutiny panel for around 2-3 years because I wanted to find out more about my housing association, Platform and test things from a tenant’s point of view.  

I consider myself well organised and interested in social housing and local/national issues. I have achieved a much greater understanding of the workings of Platform and the views of other tenants. 

We are looking for new members who are enthusiastic, patient and have good listening skills, along with a willingness to understand both sides of a tenancy and how we can work together to make improvements for everyone. It’s important to have a broad range of views on the panel.
