Duncan Palmer, Head of Responsive Repairs at Platform Property Care - a subsidiary of Platform Housing Group - is a finalist in the You Don’t Have to Work in Comms to be a Comms Hero category in this year’s CommsHero Awards.
The winners will be unveiled at a ceremony on Tuesday 26 September at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, alongside CommsHero Week, which runs from Monday 25 until Friday 29 September.
The awards were looking for individuals in the communications and marketing space that had demonstrated innovation and excellence across the communications sector.
Duncan is an avid communicator with both colleagues and stakeholders and has built up a social media presence that engages and promotes the work of Platform as well as the wider social housing sector.
Dennis Evans, Executive Director of Property Management at Platform Housing Group said: “Since his appointment, Duncan has been a constant communicator and leader of his team.
